Since its inception in 1996, SVPR Ayurveda Medical College has been one of the best Ayurveda colleges in the country providing excellent, academic delivery, research and infrastructure to its students. At SVPR Ayurveda Medical College, we not only offer Ayurveda Education, but we also provide research (innovative and globally accepted programs) and other activities and programs which creates more significant opportunities for all-round development; 100% audio visualized and clinical case-based learning is unique at SVPR Ayurveda Medical College, Hospital & Research Center Badami.
BAMS, or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, is the course that covers the main undergraduate degree in Ayurveda. It takes 4 years and 6 months to complete, and a compulsory one-year internship equips students to practice Ayurvedic medicines comprehensively. Over the five years, students enrolling in the course will learn several methods, principles, and everything related to Ayurveda medicines.

(Ayurveda) Graduation degree courses at SVPRAMC Hospital & Research Center Badami are approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), sanctioned by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi, and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
