10 CRORE DRUG-FREE PLEDGES MEGA CAMPAIGN

As a part of the nationwide Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan, the 10 Crore Drug-Free Pledges Mega Campaign was successfully conducted at Vagbhat Auditorium, SVPRAMC Badami on 02 September 2026. The programme was organized by Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Badami with the active participation of BAMS students and faculty members. The campaign aimed to strengthen the national movement against drug abuse by inspiring young minds to adopt a healthy, disciplined, and addiction-free lifestyle while contributing to the Government of India’s mission of collecting 10 crore drug-free pledges across the country.

The awareness session began with an inspiring address by the representatives of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, who emphasized the importance of moral values, self-control, meditation, and positive thinking in preventing addiction. Students were educated about the harmful effects of narcotic drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and other addictive substances on physical health, mental well-being, family relationships, and society. As future Ayurvedic medical professionals, the students were encouraged to become role models in promoting preventive healthcare and creating awareness about drug-free living in their communities.

The highlight of the programme was the collective Drug-Free Pledge taken by all SVPRAMC students. Standing together in unity, the students solemnly pledged that they would never consume drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or any addictive substance and would actively motivate their families, friends, and society to embrace a healthy and addiction-free life. The pledge reflected their commitment to uphold ethical values, protect public health, and contribute towards building a stronger, healthier, and more responsible India through the vision of Nasha Mukta Bharat.

“Drug-Free Mind • Healthy Body • Strong Nation.”

The campaign concluded with overwhelming enthusiasm and a renewed sense of social responsibility among the students. The programme successfully created awareness regarding substance abuse, reinforced the principles of Ayurveda in promoting holistic health, and strengthened the students’ dedication towards serving society as compassionate healthcare professionals. SVPVV Samstha’s Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Badami expressed heartfelt gratitude to Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Badami for organizing this meaningful initiative and making the 10 Crore Drug-Free Pledges Mega Campaign a remarkable success.
