History
Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Badami, is a leading Ayurvedic institution dedicated to education, healthcare, and research. Managed by Shri Veer Pulikeshi Vidya Vardhak Samstha (established in 1956), the college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine since the academic year 1997–98. Named after the renowned King Pulikeshi II, the institution promotes traditional Ayurvedic knowledge integrated with modern scientific approaches. It offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program and is committed to excellence in academic, clinical, and research activities.
