The programme was organized by the Department of Prasuti Tantra Evam Stree Roga with the primary objective of creating awareness about breast cancer, its risk factors, early warning signs, preventive measures and the importance of timely diagnosis and appropriate medical care. The initiative aimed to educate students and create a greater understanding of women’s health issues, emphasizing that awareness, regular health examinations and early medical consultation play a vital role in reducing the burden of breast cancer in society. Emphasis was also placed on the significance of early detection, timely screening as recommended by healthcare professionals, regular medical check-ups and appropriate follow-up care. The programme encouraged students to become responsible healthcare ambassadors by sharing accurate health information, addressing misconceptions and motivating women in their families and communities to prioritize their health. Such educational activities play an important role in developing awareness, removing hesitation and encouraging timely access to healthcare services.
