80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The 80th Independence Day Celebration was celebrated with great patriotic spirit, enthusiasm and pride at Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Badami, at Punarnava Kalakshetra, SVPRAMC, Badami. The programme commenced at 07:15 AM with the active participation of students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and NSS volunteers. The celebration reflected the true spirit of freedom, unity, discipline and national responsibility, creating a memorable and inspiring atmosphere throughout the campus

The occasion was honoured by the presence of Shri Pandurang Jadhav, Ex-Army, as the Chief Guest, whose presence brought a special sense of patriotism and pride to the celebration. Kumari Swasthi B. Mulkipatil, the Guest of Honour, also graced the occasion and encouraged the students through her inspiring presence. The NSS volunteers presented a disciplined and energetic NSS Parade, demonstrating unity, commitment, leadership and the spirit of service to the nation. The participation of the students added colour and enthusiasm to the entire programme.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Pandurang Jadhav, Ex-Army, shared inspiring thoughts on patriotism, discipline, sacrifice and the responsibilities of the younger generation in nation building. His experiences and message reminded the students that the freedom enjoyed today is the result of the courage and sacrifices of countless national heroes. The programme also featured a powerful patriotic skit presented by the students, which highlighted the values of freedom, unity, national pride and responsible citizenship. The performance received appreciation from the gathering and conveyed a meaningful message to the audience.

From Sacrifice to Freedom — From Freedom to Responsibility.

The celebration concluded on a high note of patriotism and national pride. The entire programme provided an opportunity for the students of the BAMS College to remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reaffirm their commitment to serving society and the nation. The 80th Independence Day Celebration at SVPRAMC Badami was not merely a commemorative event but also a meaningful platform for inspiring young minds towards discipline, service, unity and responsible citizenship.
