Aarogya Raksha Deeksha – White Coat Ceremony 2025–26 Batch

With the initiative ofInternal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Center, Badami, organized the Aarogya Raksha Deeksha – White Coat Ceremony for the 2025–26 BAMS Batch on 28th January 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Vagbhata Auditorium. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the newly admitted students, symbolizing their formal induction into the noble profession of healthcare and Ayurveda.

The programme was graced by Dr. V. Y. Bhagavat as the Chief Guest and was presided over by Dr. B. M. Mulkipatil, Principal, in the esteemed presence of Dr. S. B. Nidagundi, Academic Dean. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shweta I. Baligeri, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Rachana Shareer and Class Coordinator for the 2025–26 batch, along with Dr. Vijaya B. Sunagad, Professor & Head, Department of Samhita, Siddhant & Sanskrit, Deputy Coordinator of the batch. Their guidance and encouragement inspired students to embrace the responsibilities of the medical profession with dedication and integrity.

During the ceremony, the students proudly donned the white coat, a timeless symbol of knowledge, compassion, ethics, and professional responsibility. The Aarogya Raksha Deeksha reaffirmed the students’ commitment to serving humanity through the principles of Ayurveda while upholding the highest standards of patient care, discipline, and lifelong learning. Faculty members emphasized the importance of empathy, ethical medical practice, and continuous pursuit of excellence throughout their academic and professional journey.

The event concluded with words of encouragement from the dignitaries, who motivated the students to become skilled, compassionate, and socially responsible Ayurvedic physicians. The programme reflected SVPRAMC’s unwavering commitment to nurturing competent healthcare professionals dedicated to the service of society.
