Inauguration of ACLS & BLS Courses

Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Center, Badami successfully inaugurated the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Courses on 03 August 2026 at the Vagbhat Auditorium. The initiative was organized with the objective of strengthening emergency medical response skills among undergraduate students, interns, teaching faculty, and healthcare professionals.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Santosh Baduku Desai, MBBS, MD (General Medicine), Chief Consultant, Dr. G. B. Karudagimath Multispeciality Hospital, Badami, who served as the Resource Person. He highlighted the significance of early recognition of medical emergencies, timely cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and advanced life-saving interventions in improving patient survival outcomes. His insightful lecture inspired participants to develop confidence in handling critical emergencies.

The program was held under the guidance of Dr. B. M. Mulkipatil, Principal, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Shashikant B. Nidagundi, Academic Dean, and was coordinated by Dr. Guruswamy Kademani, III Professional Class Coordinator. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, interns, faculty members, and hospital staff, making it a highly interactive and informative academic activity.
