with the initiative of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Center, Badami, in collaboration with the Departments of Swasthavritta Evam Yoga, Dravyaguna Vijnana, and Agada Tantra Evam Vidhi Vaidyaka, organized an Online Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2026. The competition aimed to encourage students to creatively express the harmful effects of tobacco use and promote awareness about adopting a tobacco-free lifestyle.
Students showcased their artistic talent and public health awareness by designing informative and impactful digital posters highlighting the dangers of tobacco consumption, the importance of prevention, and the need for a healthier society. The competition provided a unique platform for participants to combine creativity with health education while reinforcing the message of tobacco cessation through visual communication.
The initiative successfully promoted awareness about the global burden of tobacco-related diseases and emphasized the role of future healthcare professionals in advocating preventive healthcare. Through this meaningful academic activity, SVPR Ayurveda Medical College reaffirmed its commitment to community health promotion, social responsibility, and nurturing students who actively contribute to creating a healthier and tobacco-free nation.
