51st Asthma Awareness Camp Conducted at Punarnava Kalakshetra, SVPRAMC, Badami
Shri Veer Pulikeshi Rural Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SVPRAMC), Badami, successfully organized the 51st Asthma Awareness Camp on 08 June 2026 (Monday) at 3:00 PM in Punarnava Kalakshetra. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among the public regarding Bronchial Asthma, its prevention, early diagnosis, and effective management.
The awareness session was delivered by Dr. K. Y. Krishnaji, an eminent Physician and Pulmonology Specialist, who provided an informative lecture on the causes, symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, preventive measures, and treatment options for bronchial asthma. He emphasized the importance of maintaining respiratory health, avoiding environmental allergens and pollutants, adopting healthy lifestyle practices, and seeking timely medical intervention to reduce asthma-related complications.
The programme was organized under the guidance of the college administration with the active participation of the ALL SVPRAMC Staffs, Hospital Administration. Faculty members, postgraduate scholars, interns, undergraduate students, hospital staff, and members of the public attended the session and actively interacted with the resource person.
